Trust OS™ Executive Performance

Turn Strategic Intent into Consistent Executive Performance.

Discuss Executive Performance

Strategy does not deliver results simply because it has been agreed. It delivers results when leaders remain aligned, make sound decisions, communicate clearly, follow through on commitments and take ownership of outcomes.

Trust OS™ Executive Performance is a structured executive performance and implementation engagement designed to help leaders turn strategic priorities into sustained organisational progress.

Built around the Trust Operating System™ (Trust OS™), the engagement creates a recurring rhythm of strategic reflection, performance review, priority setting and accountability. It helps executives assess what is working, identify what is holding performance back, and agree on the most important actions for the next 90 days.

Rather than treating leadership effectiveness as a one-off intervention, Trust OS™ Executive Performance establishes a disciplined process for strengthening the way leaders think, decide, communicate, execute, and take ownership over time.

Performance Is a Leadership Discipline

Many organisations have ambitious strategies, capable leaders and committed teams, yet struggle to translate these advantages into consistent results.

Priorities compete. Decisions are delayed. Departments operate in silos. Commitments are not always fulfilled. Leadership meetings review activity without resolving the issues that constrain progress.

These challenges are rarely solved by setting more targets alone. They require a more reliable way for leaders to align direction, make decisions, coordinate execution and maintain accountability.

Trust OS™ Executive Performance helps leadership teams build that discipline into their operating rhythm.

It connects strategic priorities with observable leadership behaviours, practical execution systems and regular performance reviews—so that improvement becomes a continuing management practice rather than an occasional initiative.

The Trust OS™ Executive Performance Method

The engagement follows a recurring 90-day performance cycle, supported by four structured executive performance sessions each year.

Each cycle provides a deliberate opportunity to review progress, examine the barriers to performance, reset priorities and agree on the actions required to move the organisation forward.

The Annual Rhythm: Four Sessions, Four Quarters

01

Session 1 — Establish Direction and Priorities

Set the foundation for the performance year. Revisit the organisation's mission, vision, values and goals; clarify strategic priorities; establish performance expectations; and identify the trust, leadership or execution issues that require attention.

02

Session 2 — Review Progress and Remove Barriers

Assess progress against agreed priorities. Examine what is working, where execution is breaking down, which decisions remain unresolved and what needs to change. Reinforce accountability and reset actions where necessary.

03

Session 3 — Recalibrate and Strengthen Execution

Review the organisation's progress in light of results, changing conditions and emerging opportunities. Refine priorities, strengthen coordination across leadership and functions, and address recurring problems affecting reliability and performance.

04

Session 4 — Consolidate Gains and Set the Next Direction

Review the year's progress, capture lessons, assess improvements in leadership effectiveness and organisational performance, and establish the next cycle of strategic priorities and commitments.

The sessions are designed to build on one another. Each quarter begins with the lessons of the previous one and ends with clear priorities for the next 90 days.

The 90-Day Performance Cycle

Each cycle follows five practical steps:

1

Review

Assess progress against the previous quarter's commitments. Identify achievements, missed outcomes, unresolved decisions, emerging risks, and lessons worth carrying forward.

2

Diagnose

Use relevant Trust OS™ diagnostic insights, leadership discussions and performance evidence to understand the barriers behind the results. Examine whether the issues relate to direction, decision-making, execution, communication or accountability.

3

Prioritise

Agree on the few outcomes that deserve the leadership team's greatest attention over the next 90 days. Confirm how these priorities support the organisation's mission, vision, values and goals.

4

Commit

Translate priorities into specific actions, ownership, milestones and expected results. Clarify the decisions, resources, relationships and leadership behaviours required to make progress.

5

Track and Recalibrate

Monitor progress between sessions, address obstacles and reinforce follow-through. Use the next quarterly review to assess results, learn from experience and determine the next set of priorities.

The purpose is not to create another reporting exercise. It is to help executives maintain strategic focus, make better use of leadership attention and turn commitments into measurable progress.

The Trust OS™ Performance Framework

The 90-day cycle is anchored in the five dimensions of Trust OS™. These dimensions provide a common framework for understanding the conditions that support or undermine executive performance.

1

Clarity of Direction

Are leaders aligned around the organisation's mission, vision, values and goals? Are strategic priorities understood, and do executives share a clear view of what matters most?

The focus is on connecting purpose and strategic direction to practical priorities, leadership expectations and organisational goals.

2

Decision Confidence

Are decisions made at the right level, with clear ownership and appropriate speed? Are unresolved decisions or unclear authority slowing progress?

The focus is on improving decision clarity, decision rights, confidence and timely action.

3

Execution Reliability

Are commitments consistently translated into results? Can leaders depend on agreed actions being completed, and are operational dependencies being managed effectively?

The focus is on execution discipline, coordination, progress tracking and dependable follow-through.

4

Communication & Transparency

Does relevant information reach the right people at the right time? Can leaders raise concerns, surface risks, and discuss performance issues openly?

The focus is on communication quality, information flow, transparency, and the leadership routines that support informed action.

5

Accountability & Ownership

Are responsibilities, expected outcomes and ownership clear? Do leaders take responsibility for commitments and address performance gaps constructively?

The focus is on explicit ownership, leadership commitments, progress reviews, and collective responsibility for results.

Together, these dimensions help executives move beyond symptoms to address the operating conditions that influence performance.

What Happens Between Quarterly Sessions?

Sustained performance depends on what happens between reviews—not just on the quality of the quarterly discussion.

The engagement establishes agreed practices to maintain momentum between sessions. Depending on the scope, these may include:

  • Brief progress check-ins against the 90-day action plan.
  • Review of priority milestones and outstanding commitments.
  • Identification and escalation of barriers requiring executive intervention.
  • Targeted follow-up on selected Trust OS™ dimensions.
  • Preparation for the next quarterly performance review.
  • Refinement of priorities when significant business conditions change.

The cadence and format of these check-ins are agreed with the client. They may be facilitated virtually, incorporated into existing leadership meetings or supported through an agreed reporting and accountability process.

The aim is to maintain visibility, reinforce ownership and prevent important priorities from disappearing beneath daily operational demands.

What Your Organisation Can Expect

Trust OS™ Executive Performance is designed to support continuous improvement in the way leaders work together and deliver results.

Depending on the engagement's objectives and scope, outcomes may include:

  • Clearer strategic direction and more focused executive priorities.
  • Stronger alignment between organisational goals and leadership actions.
  • More confident and timely decision-making.
  • Better coordination across functions and business units.
  • More reliable execution and follow-through.
  • Improved communication and transparency.
  • Clearer ownership of commitments and performance outcomes.
  • Greater visibility into recurring trust and execution barriers.
  • A practical, evolving record of quarterly priorities, actions and progress.

Results depend on the organisation's context, the evidence available, leadership participation, and consistent implementation. The process is designed to make progress visible and help leaders act on what they learn.

Who Is It For?

Trust OS™ Executive Performance is suited to organisations that want to strengthen executive effectiveness and maintain strategic momentum beyond a single workshop.

It may be particularly valuable for:

  • CEOs and managing directors seeking a more disciplined executive performance rhythm.
  • Executive leadership teams responsible for delivering strategic priorities.
  • Founders and senior management teams navigating growth or transformation.
  • Organisations seeking stronger cross-functional coordination and accountability.
  • Leadership teams that have completed an executive off-site and need structured follow-through.
  • Organisations that want to use trust and execution insights to guide ongoing improvement.
  • The engagement is most effective when senior leaders are willing to review performance candidly, accept shared responsibility, and act on agreed commitments.

From Insight to Sustained Improvement

The Trust OS Intensive™ can help a leadership team establish a common understanding of its trust and execution challenges. Trust OS™ Executive Performance provides the recurring structure to work on those challenges, review progress, and reinforce better operating practices over time.

The two offerings serve different purposes: the Intensive is a focused two-day intervention, while Executive Performance supports continued implementation and performance review.

The engagement is tailored to the organisation's priorities, starting point and required level of support. The number and format of check-ins, diagnostic activities, reporting and other deliverables are agreed at the outset.

Make Performance a Repeatable Practice

The organisations that sustain progress do more than set ambitious goals. They create the leadership discipline to review, learn, decide, execute and improve—quarter after quarter.

Trust OS™ Executive Performance helps your leadership team build that discipline into the way the organisation operates.
